Overview

The purpose of this meeting is to bring together established researchers and students dealing with science and engineering that is assisted or motivated by Technology. Namely, this meeting is about technology rich science and engineering. Moreover, it is evident now that the joining of microelectronics related processes with nanotechnology created a winning pair and in this meeting we try to promote the notion that adding high tech printing would result in a very promising trio.

The Stephen and Sharon Seiden Frontiers in Science & Engineering Forum was established by Norman and Barbara Seiden in honor of their son, Stephen and his wife, Sharon.

The purpose of the Forum is to showcase Israel’s remarkable progress and achievements in science and technology through biennial workshops hosted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.  The workshops are intended to address the very latest in a variety of disciplines and focus on diverse topics that highlight the Technion’s strengths.

The Seiden family connection to the Technion is now in its third generation having started with Norman’s father and represents one of the Technion’s and Israel’s staunchest supporters and greatest champions.
